This place is so peaceful and blissful. I came here on Thanksgiving day, and it was not busy. It was super cold so we couldn't get to tour the place longer. I could easily stay here for hours, wondering around the temples and the grounds. But I was very pleased with what we were able to come across. The temple itself has an upstairs and downstairs, which is way bigger. There is a sign that says, "Yes, we are open!" I'm assuming it's opened any time of the day, even on holidays. Definitely plan to make another trip back here when it gets warmer.
This is a gorgeous place! I had the day off work today and wanted to stop by on Friday for the first day of the 2023 Cambodian New Year celebration to enjoy the weather, have some food, and take photos with my new camera lens. My friend and I had a great time. The parking lot was very nice and spacious, weather was fantastic, great views, and many friendly people. We got there on Friday around 1pm before the festival actually began, so unfortunately, there weren't many people yet because I wanted a chance to see people wearing their traditional Cambodian clothes. The food stands also weren't ready when we got there at 1pm on Friday - we were hoping to try many Cambodian street foods because we were very hungry to try new food. But we would definitely stop by again in the future for the food and to enjoy the festivity.
Lao-American checking in with my Khmer brethren. Quiet place and good walk around. A lot to see and haven't been back there since it was a single building 20 years back. π±π¦πΊπ²π€π°ππΊπ²
Wonderful peaceful time spent on a weekend. Nice walk, peaceful time inside temple, nice views and if u r Buddha devotee or follower a must visit for everyone.
Visit on Thanksgiving 2023 when it was closed. Nice walk during construction. It has lost most of itsβ beauty and excitement since 2001 establishment.
It's great to see there's renovation. I am glad I came from Boston to visit this
This temple is a neat way to spend your afternoon, especially when the weather is nice. It was my first time here. Seems like this place is updating or renovating a lot of the areas. There are a lot of things to look at and although it is quite different in structure than a Tibetan temple, it is still very beautiful to look at and tour. We spent about 3 hours here. We did not get to meet the monks when we came, so we didn't get to experience that part. Maybe next time. It would've been really cool to. My daughter, mom, and sister all enjoyed it as well. Great to experience and see other cultures. I also hope the next time I bring my whole family to visit. The temple will be finished with their renovations. I'm excited to see the results. I'm sure it'll be very beautiful.
Free to walk around and explore. We met a guy while exploring who showed us around and answered our questions. Really neat to see and experience. Would love to come back during an event.
